The ISSM gives birth to a new generation of storytellers that are aware of their cultural heritage as well as nowadays world topics and urban cultures. ISSM graduate storytellers are able to adapt to both classical performances, and world class artistic shows. The focus of our training programs is not only the performative aspect but we emphasize more on the content and what our storytellers are able to produce in terms of the weight and importance of the texts they work on.
Vision 2033:
Our long term vision at the school is to train 100 professional storytellers by the
beginning of the year 2033
STORYTELLING MASTERS PROGRAM:
3 Years
The program is curated towards future professional storytellers. The program consists of three consecutive years:
1st Year: General Mastery of both performance skills and content.
2nd year: Building Artistic and conceptual storytelling capacities
3rd year: Specializing in a field: History, Sufism, culture, tradition, cinema, literatu
INTENSE PROGRAM:
6 Months
The program aims to train a variety of individuals, from different backgrounds, who are interested in the performative aspect ofstorytelling: Actors, public speakers, musicians…
VISITING PROGRAM:
1 Month
The program is designed for professional storytelling artists who want to broaden their perspective on the innovative Moroccan approach to storytelling.
GUEST PROGRAM:
1 Session
The program attracts tourists and curious minds who want to discover the art of storytelling.
